ZODIAC FASHION: What Your Star Says About Your Style

When it comes to astrology- you're either a believer or a skeptic. Regardless of your beliefs, learning more about your horoscopes and star signs can be somewhat entertaining. Especially when you swirl it in with fashion!

I've always been interested in reading horoscopes and learning how zodiac signs relate to love, friendships, family and other aspects of life. Up until a few days ago, I began to wonder if my zodiac sign related to how I dressed and my personal fashion sense. Sooooo .... I began to research, and here's what I found mixed in with my own personal thoughts on the signs and fashion- becauseeee if I only wrote what I learned, that would just be too boring, right?! Agreed.

THE SIGNS:

Let's start off with......

ARIES (21 March - 19 April):

Aries women are like fire-crackers! They are daring and fierce. I guess that's why they are known as the Ram. Nothing can slow them down and this really reflects their fashion sense. These vivacious women will not be likely to be seen in girl clothes with lots of pink, pastels or frills. Instead, aries women will always be ahead of the trend or will set their own trends. Their bold attitude is paired with red- lots of red like fire! At the end of the day, an aries woman is strong, bold, direct, daring, active and will always stand out in a crowd in a killer outfit!

Best Shades: Red, Black and White

TAURUS (20 April - 20 May):

Unlike the daring Aries, the Taurus woman enjoys looking ultra sleek, neat and feminine. She loves wearing and owning the finer things in life, but knows how to achieve her expensive desires while paying only a fraction of the price. I guess we can say that this Bull is quite the bargain hunter without looking like she shopped at a bargain mart! You will often spot a Taurus woman rocking a designer label piece paired with a non-branded piece. It's not about the label for her, but about putting what looks best together. She wants to look fabulous and comfortable at the same time. This fashionista lady knows her body which allows her to dress in ways which really compliment her body. 

Best Shades: Pink, Peach, Floral Prints, Earthy tones, and all shades of Pink

GEMINI (21 May - 20 June):

One day you might feel like wearing boho chic, but the next you might feel like wearing an androgynous style. People of this sign get bored easily, and their style is a HUGE reflection of that, as they dressed based on  how they are feeling on a particular day. Might sound a bit bipolar or maybe it's because Gemini's are the Twin sign. Makes sense! Gemini's have no particular style so you will never see them wearing the same type of outfit, but you will see them mixing up their wardrobe with complete opposite styles! This sign loves to play with fashion. It's like their hobby- isn't it all of ours?! These Gems can pull off any look making it look effortless! Their sense of style doesn't just end with the their clothes, but continues on to their hands and arms. They enjoy styling themselves with chic arm-candy with bracelets, bangles and rings. Oh yea- and purses!! 

Best Shades: Gems have no best, shades because they rock them all! Butttt if we had to choose they would be: Metallics, Silvers and Statement shades.

CANCER (21 June - 22 July):

Cancer's are sweet, sensitive and sentimental people. However, don't mistake them to be softies. After all, their sign is the crab so if you mess with them they might just snap you with their claws (haha). Their style is simple, but not basic. They don't put too much effort in putting their outfit together because they look good in just about everything! You will probably spot them wearing a piece of jewelry or clothing that means something to them or tells a story. Their outfits each mean a little something to them even if it looks easily put together. Cancer's love their style and really feel their clothes. They also have a hard time of letting go of old clothing items. You might spot a Cancer wearing a vintage outfit or incorporating something old or vintage with their outfit. FUN TIP: Cancer's have nice cleavage and it may be reflected in their outfits without meaning to. They also look FAB in lingerie.**

LEO (23 July - 22 August):

Leo's are known as Lion's so you can bet that their fashion sense will be as loud as a lion's roar! They are all about making a statement and believe themselves to be the ruler of the fashion world. A Leo will make a bold statement from head to toe. From her cropped hair style or long layers to her super bold statement necklace. Yet, the Leo is able to make a bold statement without looking overdone or too much fuss. They lure confidence and love expensive jewelry, clothing and accessories. No one can bring down a Leo's ego or pride. They always bring their A-GAME when it comes to their outfit!

Best Shades: Gold, Brown, Yellow, Orange and DIAMONDS

VIRGO (23 August - 22 September) *My mother's sign**

The Virgo sign is the Virgin. This definitely reflects her clean, pure and polished style. Although Virgo's have sensible style, they are always up-to-date with their fashion. You will never spot them in messy clothes or too daring of outfits. Instead, you will spot them in neat, well put together chic outfits. Every detail has to be perfect, as Virgo's are perfectionists. They are also obsessed with jewelry and accessories. The Virgo is elegant and will never wear cheap or festive outfits. Their outfits are always produced with grace, elegance and sophistication.

Best Shades: Black and Red

LIBRA (23 September - 22 October) **I'm a Libra!!**

I am a Libra. With that said- I will try my best to not write this with bias (haha). So here I go! Libra's will never be seen too flashy or too casual. Instead, you will find a Libran in the perfect balance of two styles which is why the sign is a scale. Libra's have an acute eye for luxury. Her outfits will reflect her femininity as well as her luxurious and glamorous side. Libra's enjoy getting attention from their outfits and will always dress to impress not only others, but themselves. This is one of the most feminine signs. A Libra will always look their best no matter where they are going- including bed. There is a distinct balance with this sign when it comes to beauty, dresses, shoes and heels. A Libra will never be overdressed or underdressed, but just right! 

Best Shades: Blues and Reds- although I love YELLOW!! 

SCORPIO (23 October - 21 November)

If you have ever met a Scorpio, then you definitely know how mysterious and secretive they can be! Their mysteriousness is revealed in their dark toned outfits. They lure an intense passion which makes whatever they wear look sexy- not trashy, but a nice sexy. Scorpios don't like looking trashy, but they always want to look sexy and elegant at the same time. This Scorpion sign really enjoy wearing outfits with a loose fit, cut-outs and with satin or silk material. Their jewelry must shine. They like wearing cuff bracelets, and some even rock a tattoo or two as an accessory.

Best Shades: Blacks, Reds and Dark Tones

SAGITTARIUS (22 November - 21 December)

People with this sign are a worldly bunch. They enjoy culture and travel. Their sign is the Archer. A Sagittarian will be seen wearing outfits inspired by travel and diverse cultures. For example, they might mix a traditional Indian dress with an European twist! They dress casually and classy at the same time. Their outfits give off an effortless feel as if they just woke up and put the first things they saw on, and it just so happened to look good. They have an edgy twist to them and may be spotted in a leather biker jacket and a ripped jeans or mini skirt.

Best Shades: Gold, Orange, Yellow, Earth tones

CAPRICORN (22 December - 19 January)

This sign has it's own sense of style and self. The Goat is this signs symbol. Like a goat who grazes and doesn't follow all other animals, neither do people of this sign. They have their own idea of what looks good and will never wear an outfit merely because that's what seems to be in style at the time. Capricorn's trust their own instincts and know exactly what to wear for each occasion. They are not fashion-obsessed, but that does not mean that they don't enjoy looking good. A simple black dress looks killer on them and they don't even have to try to look good. It just comes naturally.

Best Shades: Keep steer of bright colors. Grey and darker shades suit this sign the best.

AQUARIUS (20 January - 18 February)

The water-bearer is the symbol for this sign. Just like surfers have a feel for the watery ocean waves, so do Aquarians when it comes to fashion. They are able to really have a feel and eye for what looks good and what doesn't. People of this sign are not followers, but leaders and set their own
trends regardless of the current trends around them. These people will definitely take a risk in order to be different and
and stand out. They will wear an unpopular designer or brand, and make it appear as if it is one of the most popular. You will never see an Aquarian looking like the rest of the crowd. They make their own fashion statements and dare to be different. 

Best Shades: Purple, Violet, Black, White, Blue, Navy

PISCES (19 February - 20 March)

This signs symbol is the fish. People of this sign are a dreamy and imaginative. It wouldn't be a surprise to see them in something they made out of drapes or old material around their house. They enjoy wearing flowy outfits. Although they may seem like they are easygoing and don't want to be the center of attention, they actually want all eyes on them without really acknowledging that is what they want. They do this is a such a subtle way that no one notices. Their dress style is simple- not in a dull way, but in an artsy, creative and care-free way. 

Best Shades: Light, soft shades, blue, violet. Just about any shade which is not too loud. 

Regardless of what these astrology signs say, remain true to yourself and dress in a way in which you are most comfortable.
